There’s something about getting your fingers into the earth which reminds me of our connection with nature. It’s easy to live our lives going from home to pavement to car to pavement to shops and back again without ever touching anything natural!

I’ve planted 38 flowers, pulled some weeds and pruned the lavender, ivy and an unknown twiggy-plant.
